About Me

Salt Lake County is in my blood. My parents were born here in Taylorsville, and I was raised here. I first became civically engaged as in the Boy Scouts, where I visited the state capitol, attended West Jordan city council, and built new storage for the West Jordan Museum to get my Eagle Scout Award. After serving an LDS mission in the Southeastern US, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies, with a minor in global business and computer science. It was from my time in the Eagle Scouts, on my mission, and at BYU that I first understood how important it was that I serve others whenever possible. Now, I’m trying to do just that by serving my community on the Salt Lake County Council.
