About Me
Salt Lake County is in my blood. My parents grew up in Taylorsville, and I was raised here in West Jordan. I first became civically engaged as a Boy Scout, where I visited the state capitol, attended city council meetings, and built new storage for the West Jordan Museum to earn my Eagle Scout Award. After serving an LDS mission in the Southeastern US, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies, with minors in global business and computer science.
I now live in Midvale with my incredible wife, Liss, and our two perfect kitties, Rua and Nimi, where I am deeply involved in the community, including serving as Vice Chair of the Community Council. In my professional life, I work as a System Analyst and Project Manager for a tech company, where I work to rethink processes, improve efficiency, and build new features that have saved millions of dollars each year while improving the customer and employee experience.
Through my time in scouting, on my mission, and at BYU, I developed a lifelong commitment to serving my community. Through my business experience I have developed the skills and demonstrated the ability to improve complex systems. Now, I want to put those skills to work for Salt Lake County families on the Salt Lake County Council.
